My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and cozy. The location was great, a few minutes to the subway and a 5 minute walk to a big bus depot where I caught a bus to Quebec City for the day. The free parking and free breakfast (coffee, juice, and a bagel) was also great. Front desk staff was super friendly as well.
I recently stayed at Hotel Chateau and had a great experience overall. The hotel was very good, offering comfortable accommodations and excellent value for the price. However, the parking situation was a bit of a challenge, as it operates on a first-come, first-serve basis, which can be inconvenient during busy times. Aside from that, everything else was smooth, and I would recommend it for its quality and affordability.
Very cool boutique hotel with clean well appointed rooms, an attentive personable staff, and impeccably chosen art throughout. The owner has created a mini museum. Cannot recommend this place enough.
I have stayed here twice now and love it. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is a converted old home and you get that feeling while in it. They have done a nice job covering it into a fun hotel. Each room has AC units in it. The staff is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable of the area and things to see and do. There is parking available but I think it is limited. I have not had issues either time I have stayed here but I could see it being an issue they have a breakfast included with the room. This is a great place to stay to see Montreal and not have to spend an arm and a leg to get a comfortable and quiet room. Completely recommend!
I am so glad we found this place. We booked a full bed with private bathroom. Was a little concerned at first because not much communication from the hotel, except for an initial auto generated confirmation of booking. Was pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome and hospitality upon arrival. Room and bathroom were small however it was perfect for us. We stayed on third floor and carried our luggage up flights of stairs. No elevator but was not an issue for us. Staff are willing to assist if needed. Free parking was an additional bonus for us and note the keys are left at reception. Continental Breakfast is served with bagels from the famous “Fairmount Bagels” each morning Perfect location with subway access directly across from the hotel. Walking distances to most places of interest. Richard and the young lady serving breakfast were super kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
We arrived here 10.30 pm with a friend desperately looking for a room (the hotel we booked offered us a room with no lock…). Sammy was at the reception and was very nice to us. He made sure we felt comfortable and saved our night. The hotel is very cute and cozy, with a very affordable price. 5/5!
